Acoustic Circus NYC Debut at Rockwood Music Hall

Acclaimed singer songwriter Brad Cole brings his Acoustic Circus to Rockwood Music Hall NYC. Cole, a Chicago native developed Acoustic Circus as a singer songwriter variety show where Cole and other artists showcase, collaborate, jam, and take some risks. The result is a face paced, primarily acoustic variety show that’s a little bit dirty, a little bit funny and a whole lotta entertaining.

I host the evening and try do deliver a unique experience for listeners and a fun environment for the artists”, says Cole. “As a performer, I spend so much time on the road, I see over 200 shows a year and am exposed to a lot of amazing, somewhat under the radar performers. This is an opportunity for Acoustic Circus performers to showcase at a great venue and also do something unique with other performers.

Acoustic Circus began in Chicago in 2008 as a residency for Cole’s own music. Each show he would invite other road warriors passing through town to share the stage. Recent guests have included the award winning Shovels and Rope, Doug & Telisha Williams and Dolly Varden, to name a few. “I realized these shows were selling out not so much because of the names on the marquis, but because of the discovery process for music fans in search of something new and unique. It’s really a one of a kind show for fan and performer alike.”

Cole will host the first installment of Acoustic Circus East featuring Hands Off My Sisters’ Erin Sax (, Brad Cole (, East Nashvillian Sam Lewis ( Jeremiah Birnbaum ( and Bethel Steele (
